SL - Za'rick Dusk Adar

Biography

Za'rick "Dusk" Adar was born on the planet Arkania of the Perave System, home of Arkanian scientists and warriors who were a Near-Human species. The traits of this species are their white eyes, white or silver hair, and claw-like finger appendages. The father of Za'rick was full Arkanian and the mother was of the Miraluka race: blind sentients with an exceptional insight of the Force. Za'rick gained the silver color of his father's eyes, and the dark skin of his Jedi mother. Also, he inherited exceptional knowledge.

On Arkania, after many confrontations of a war-like environment and dire chaos, his parents fled the planet in search of a stable home. They came across Nar Shaddaa. The mother, Kuria Adar, and the father, Ghomjah Adar, raised Za'rick there until they could further investigate the chaotic disturbances on Arkania. He was taught various things such as battle, creating, and hunting. He grew up to many hardships and experienced harsh trials and tribulations that a normal boy would not handle. A life of gang affiliated deeds was enough to corrupt the young Force Sensitive's mind. It seemed that Za’rick’s Force Sensitive power impressed those around him. The young Halfling gained spectacular potency of his hidden abilities in rationable years of training the mind, body and spirit. Ghomjah took his son throughout several sectors of the galaxy to teach him. It was a way for a child to grow from experiencing galactic adventure. They fought along side Jedi and many others. Ghomjah and his son faced perilous situations that could destroy any person physically and psychologically without extreme training.

Along the way, Za'rick become more versatile in his few years of training. His mother soon asked him if he had constructed a lightsaber for himself. He never really cared for the weaponry of Jedi Knights, but learned articulately well of how to craft a lightsaber. He knew that he was not a Jedi, so he didn't make one. Two years later, his mother, Kuria Kindu was summoned by the Jedi Council on the planet Yavin IV to accept a dangerous mission. Ghomjah detested the Jedi Council and personally confronted them on Yavin IV. Extremities of death lied ahead for Kuria. Her husband secretly . Soon, after Kuria's clash of destroy, the Sith's Mandalorians mercenary group had tracked Kuria's ship nearby at Sith Space. She was an excellent pilot for anyone without her eyes in use. Soon, the young Za'rick arrived at the scene of the Outer Rim in a stolen starship, after his father Ghomjah warned him to stay on Nar Shaddaa. He cruised to save his mother from the hoards of Mandalorian mercenaries that attempted to incinerate and shoot down Kuria. They succeeded in shooting down her ship. Kuria and her demolished ship trailed into the darkness of space. She was presumed dead by witnesses. Seeing such a horrific scene in front of him, Za'rick's rage boiled within himas he open fired on every single Mandalorian mercenary vessel that were in sight. Five out of the nine mercenary fighters were destroyed as the other four fled. Ghomjah and his ship were not seen at the scene afterwards.

A few years past, Za'rick had grown into a strong young teenager and carried on his father's role as a fierce hunter, but was alone. His next motive was to travel to Yavin IV There he encountered a band of rogue Jedi. They disliked him at first but soon became his comrades, even giving him a nickname. They called him "Dusk" because of his blue apparel and dark complexion. Each of them referred to one another with a special nickname. The leader was a tall, clever Human Gray-Jedi called "Neeso". Za'rick's new rogue comrades assisted in accumilating the power he had lost during his isolation. It wasn't long before he could feel a significant connection to the Force again. The group soon dubbed him a Gray Jedi after an elaborate test of courage. All together, these rogues of the Force embarked and fought intense battles with the Sith. Their conflict created an upcoming catastrophe for their future. About a year later, a majority of rogue Jedi were killed in action, including Neeso's group. He and Za'rick cheated death, due to the constructive teachings of Neeso. They found themselves on the run, the Sith were on their trail. The two survivors ended up facing only one foe, a masked Sith Master of the Force. Two rogue Jedi against one Sith Master made no difference. At the outcome of the three-way duel, Neeso was impaled in the chest from a thrust of the lightsaber then was thrown over a steep crevice. He was instantly killed by the far drop into a large lake at the bottom of the jagged crevice. Za'rick came to witness yet another fatal death of a close friend. The harsh reality of it awakened a terrible rage within his mind. He raised his lightsaber and darted forward to unleash a fluctuated series of lightsaber strikes at the murderous Sith Master. The strength and speed of the first three strikes caught the Sith Master off balance upon a deadly clash. The last strikes severed the Sith Master's legs off. Za'rick approached the legless menace and prepared to finish her off, but in the last devious act of desparation, the Sith Master launched a swirling wave of Force-Lightning at Za'rick. The impact knocked him backward off the crevice and into the depths of the Yavin forest. The fall was broken by a large tree in the forests of Yavin. He slipped out of the tree.

The escape of death became drastically painful; the sensation of torture from electrocution along with hitting the ground from a broken fall. Half an hour passed when a sudden mysterious stranger discovered Za'rick curled up on the ground suffering from painful burns on his body. The stranger gazed in awe, deciding to take him aboard a ship into space to an unknown planet. Once they had arrived, Za'rick was taken to a medical facility and place into a Bacta tank for an hour to revive from his critical burns. The mysterious man claimed to him that he was a Knight of the Potentium Order, on the living planet called “Zonama Sekot“. It was a confusing situation to learn such a thing at the escape of death. The new aquaintances sat down at a meditation ground with other Potentium residents. They introduced themselves, and Za'rick introduced himself to the Potentium with his nickname “Dusk”. The first Masters included were Flint Mokeev, Salene Lusch the Magister, and Toad Freck.

Now he was living on another new world. In time, he continued his training by becoming an apprentice amongst the Potentium. A Knight called Toad selected and taught Za'rick discipline of the Potentium and to respect those around him. Keeping an open mind was Toad's essential strategy of training in order to survive Sith onslaughts. A year later, Za'rick was tested by the Grand Council and became a Knight of the Potentium Order. After being Knighted, he left the planet of Zonama to seek his own destiny once again. From time to time on his journeys, he visits Zonama Sekot to maintain his work there as a Knight.
