New Tibannopolis is a floating city on the Star Wars planet Bespin.
Dubbed one of the ten wonders of the late classic era, New Tibannopolis was the largest tibanna gas extraction facility in the galaxy. New Tibannopolis also boasted large hyperdrive fuel refining facilities, leading to the rise of New Tibannoplis as one of the galaxy's major economic and production powerhouses.
Under the leadership of Engineer and Master Shipwright Rhialto, Exarch of Bespin, New Tibannopolis was to emerge as a major regional power broker. With the addition of famed Admiral Kethina Andretti to defense forces of the lower Hydian Exarchates, New Tibannopolis took its place as the "Jewel of the lower Hydian" following the collapse of the Imperial Republic.
The Temple of the JJA ( Jedi Jewels Alliance) is located in the city, headed by Master Rain Titanium. New Tibannopolis 1st Secretary Christine Ballyhoo is also a member of the JJA.
