The New Jedi Order (NJO) was a Jedi Order based on the planet of Chandrila, an open space sim. The founders of the group was Castus Barak, Morrigan Jolles (deceased), Arinu Ling, Kalliwillow Lane and Cindy Kellner, the creator of FCRS. Shortly after its formation Cindy Kellner left Haruun Kal. Castus Barak continued the group along with Morrigan Jolles. The NJO prided itself on trying to keep canon as much as possible within the limits of Second Life.

Saritha Khandr was only a Padawan level 1 and never completed her training. The group ended its activities during December 2008 but returned during summer 2009. Sebestian Nordenskiold; and Saritha Khnadr created a new group and took the name. Sebestian Nordenskiold named himself Grand Master of the Order. Castus Barak returning to SWRP and immediately requested that his intellectual property, graphics for the Order, stop being used by the new NJO. Castus Barak never supported the new group due to irreconcilable philosophical differences and their deviation from his original creation. Eventually the group left the planet of Chandrila and moved to Haruun Kal, then to Bothawui followed by finally settling on Tython, where Saritha Khandr ran the NJO as Grand Master and Sebestian as an elder. Saritha Khandr is now on both the Council of the KOJ and the reemerging NJO on Ossus.

Arinu Ling, who had been raised to Master in the original NJO now heads the group under the name New Jed'aii Order on Tython and has the full support of being Grand Master by the founder, Castus Barak.

  • Jedi use their powers to defend and to protect.
  • Jedi respect all life, in any form.
  • Jedi serve others rather than ruling over them, for the good of the galaxy.
