"The Star of Lithoria, it is said that it only reveals itself when the constantly bombarding lightning storms of Thule cease.

It is an occurrence that only happens when the Galactic Powers shift. Only upon this Ancient World of the Sith can it be seen, the Blood-Orange Star revealed itself to me on the first day of my arrival, thus Lithoria as a Nation was born."

— Dark Lord Morior

The Kingdom of Lithoria, or otherwise known as the Lithorian kingdom, the Kingdom, the Sith Kingdom, or simply Lithoria, was a Sith kingdom first established by Dae'dah Haj'ra I. Several thousand years later, the kingdom was reborn after the Sith Lord Darth Morior, now Dark Lord and Sith King witnessed the revealing of the ancient star called Lithoria. The current capital of Lithoria is Korriban.

OOC: Realism is important to us. The Kingdom takes great pains to keep lore sensible and understandable. You may know who Morior is, you may not. Ask yourself, "What does my character know?" We foster our characters. This group is not for those who want to 'rank up' quickly, nor will they! We will work with you to find how best to bring you in - Anything is possible!

Lithoria as a nation[]

At her core, the kingdom shines within the Galaxy as an entity that closely resembles what a Sith Kingdom might in the Golden Age of the Sith. Ruled by a powerful Monarch, it is rumored that the King of Lithoria is The Dark Lord of the Sith; Darth Morior - Though few know of his true identity, for such rumors are usually baseless accusations. The majority of the Galaxy would know him only as ‘King Morior’. There are few and far between that know the truth.

With the Kingdom having many different roles, it is very much run based on prestige. Prestige is gained through rank, title, achievements and more. It is to be noted that there is a certain hierarchy that makes up the ranking structure of the Kingdom. Because the Kingdom is run based off of prestige, there could be some overlap in the ranking structure.

While Sith Lords do not necessarily ‘Hold Rank’ within the Sith Military, they will have the final say in making decisions, as they are above all others. Due to the fact that those within Lithoria are unlike other Dark Side practitioners in the Galaxy, they offer a certain respect to non-force sensitive Lithorians, for they too are Lithorian. Within reason, non-Lithorian’s are fair game. Typically, the Sith will do their best to stay out of business of the Military as they likely will have other objectives to achieve.

Example 1
An Admiral may issue a command that may not be beneficial to the Kingdom or downright damaging. While a Sith Apprentice of the Dark Lord may know this decision from the Admiral may cause an issue of some type.. The Sith Apprentice, with his prestige, may try to overturn a command from the Admiral. It is up to the individuals to resolve this situation. The point is, someone will likely have to deal with consequences for not making the correct decision that benefits Lithoria’s best interests.
Example 2
A Sith Lord orders a poor tactical decision. Under normal circumstances, the military must obey. However, a distinguished military veteran has earned great glories for the Kingdom and therefore holds prestige. This Veteran advises the Sith Lord on a potentially better solution. (Players work together OOCly to resolve these interactions.)

The Kingdom has a great cohesion with it's subjects, be they conquered or willing additions. This is largely credited to the 'Lithorian Way' of life and respect for that planet's culture. Meaning it will be kept intact, so long as it does not conflict with established Lithorian beliefs. Many planets that join, do so willingly after being saved by their military. This, and the fact that every able body must serve time in the military, leads to a highly Militaristic and Nationalized populace.

The Force Sensitives within the Kingdom are heavily regulated and registered; whether they choose to become Sith Lords or part of The Bronze Hand; all have some significant role within Lithoria and none are left alone without proper utilization - This alone would be a Sin and total waste. There are no unofficial or individual Sith.

Religion[]

Religion is an imperative part of Lithorian culture. The Dark Lords of old, specifically Marka Ragnos are worshipped with fierce reverence as deities. Sith are seen as extensions of this and the local citizens understand that the Sith are their protectors as well as the source of their salvation among the threats of the Galaxy. Simply being in the presence of Sith can cause fear due to the Darkside of the Force; in Lithoria, this 'fear' is twisted into a pride or even love (albeit excess pride) and determination to live 'the Lithorian way'. The Sith command fear but also respect determination. For a family within the Kingdom to have a member accepted within the ranks of the House of Ragnos or any other future Sith House within the Kingdom is one of the highest honors, even if that role is of a lowly servant.

OOC: There is an important distinction between our group and most other Sith groups. Our Sith do not needlessly push others around nor necessarily rule with fear, unless warranted; for the Sith believe that every life is a potentially useful tool until useless and then cast aside. As such, the citizenry is much more amenable to them. They are also taught from a young age that this fear is actually love for the Sith. Not unlike both the Love and Fear of a Deity.

Some Planets tend to have more hardcore followers than others. Local customs may seem odd to outsiders as priests and priestesses walk the streets burning sacred incense and chant sacred prayers for all who reside within the Kingdom. Such scenes can even be a culture shock to Sith trained outside of this structure, for even those who cannot utilize the Force can be seen taking part in these customs.

Roles within the kingdom[]

There are many roles within the Kingdom and all are significant to its growth. This will be updated over time. Below are those that are listed currently:

The Sith[]

The Sith are at the top of the food chain within the Kingdom of Lithoria, with the Dark Lord, Darth Morior at the peak. As the Kingdom believes that the Sith are the pinnacle of Galactic Society, naturally they would be divided into different Noble Sith Houses. However all Sith within this Nation have one similar goal - A forward thinking ideal, Lithoria First; combining their efforts rather than turning their blades and intentions selfishly against each other within the Kingdom and thus undermining the Dark Lord’s wishes; the Uniting of the True Sith. The Sith also share this sense of Nationalism which results in their involvement in His ambitions. Currently, there is only one Sith House within the Kingdom.

Sith within the Kingdom are forbidden from Killing other Lithorian Sith, within reason. Such is punishable by execution.

The House of Ragnos[]

House of Ragnos Banner v

For over 5000 years the House of Ragnos had ebbed and flowed in both power and prosperity. Risen and fallen, but only through strenuous effort did the organization survive and grew stronger. Galactic History has been shaped by the House and the House will continue to mold the fate of the Galaxy. Created during the Time of Marka Ragnos’ reign, the House is considered ancient among even the oldest Sith Orders. This is a great point of pride among members as it proves the strength of the House withstands the test of time.

First starting out as a Cult, the House of Ragnos (formerly Disciples of Ragnos) maintains the cult-like ‘undying unification’ that brought to fruition the extreme Nationalism that is the Lithorian ideal.

For generations, The House of Ragnos was led by an overseer; a Leader called The Arch Lord. Over the years, each Arch Lord titled was a member of the Haj'ra family; a significant bloodline that carried the House of Ragnos upon their backs. Not once had the House of Ragnos deemed anyone outside of this bloodline worthy of the title of Arch Lord. The current Arch Lord is none other than the Dark Lord himself.

Now, the bloodline is considered the Royal Family of the Lithorian Kingdom and currently, the House is the single Noble Sith House within the Kingdom.

This House is only for those who look to achieve greatness through painfully earned Strength and Power; True Sith. These Sith regard the (however, dead) Dark Lord Marka Ragnos as a powerful example of what Sith should be. With the uprising of the current Arch Lord's reformations of the very old and ancient Sith Order, many things have changed over the generations. The House beckons Sith who would work towards the greater goal; ensuring that they, being the harbingers of The New Golden Age of the Sith, are executing the Dark Lord Morior's plans.

OOC: This group is not for the faint of heart. The group is fairly exclusive and we are picky on who we bring in. Expect quality RP that will last you years of continuously rewarding and promising character development.

The Bronze Hand (Inquisition)[]

Between the Sith within the Kingdom and the Sith Military are the Bronze Hand: The Dark Lord’s Hand Picked Force Sensitive Inquisitors, marked by his very own Bronzium dipped hand. These individuals are responsible for many Internal Affairs, where they root out heretics who spread word of Jedi teachings and monitor spiritual health among the population; thus ensuring their singular task protecting the 'Lithorian Way' of life.

Inquisitors are given basic gear but also wear special items specific to their task. Weapons vary but all are dangerous in their own right, even if their knowledge of the Dark Side is not as deep as a Sith, their dedication and fanaticism to the Lithorian Way can be a powerful motivator. Although rare, some Inquisitors could find themselves becoming Sith or vice versa.

During times of War, the Bronze Hand acts as multipliers within the military rather than Commanders or Generals, working alongside the Military.

The Lithorian military[]

The Lithorian Military is made up of different branches: The Lithorian Navy; including Marines and Pilots and the Lithorian Army. All able bodied Lithorians have served in the Lithorian Military in some manner.

While the Military is quite large, there was more to be gained from the previous incarnation of the House of Ragnos’ (Disciples of Ragnos) affiliated Imperials; The Empire Reborn, whose name paid respect to the title of Sith Reborn during the time of Tavion Axmis from hundreds of years earlier. The remnants of the abandoned and unknowingly betrayed (DOR’s) Imperial Stormtrooper Corps (DISC) had attacked the Planet of Jagomir, a System within Lithorian space. After the defeat of the false Arch Lord that once ruled them, the Remnant DISC were offered the choice to join or die:

The Remnant Imperials surrendered and were absorbed into the Lithorian Sith military, thus adding to the assets of the Kingdom.

Within the brotherhood of the Military, the branches have a healthy competition on ‘who is best’ when it comes to War time. Although not always so serious, each Lithorian holds a strict discipline, for all Lithorians are reflective of the Kingdom. While there are requirements for able bodies to serve at some point, Lithorians are encouraged to serve longer to receive better benefits for their families.

OOC: Custom Sith Military helmets were created, armor and more is provided once the character has earned the gear.

The Lithorian navy[]

The Lithorian navy is made up of Pilots and Marines. With a speciality in Outer-Space Combat, both roles are not unfamiliar with the machinations of War, be it on the ground or in Space. These Military personnel are considered the Kingdom’s best soldiers and are revered throughout Lithorian Territories for their Heroics. Seeing the gritty nature of War, many of these individuals are considered to be gruff and extremely skilled in the art of ranged and hand-to-hand combat.

These Soldiers are the first to be deployed and the last to leave.

The Lithorian army[]

As the Lithorian army makes up the majority of the Military, it is the backbone of the Sith Military. As Sith Soldiers, they are the Fist of the King and thus they are the Might of Lithoria. When the Nation conquers or takes hold of territory, it is the Army that occupies and guards these worlds. If there were attackers, the Army is likely the first defense if they break through orbital defenses in place to protect the planetary system.

If any ground engagements are prolonged over an extended period, it is the Army that conducts these operations and settles in to deal with the slog.

The Kingdom Prevails.
