Io Auer is a former Consular Jedi Knight of the Kalway Order of Jedi
History[]
IO's grandparents were born on Alderaan and killed when it was destroyed his parents were on a shuttle when this took place and fled to the Bespin system where his father worked as a miner until he died. After a childhood of petty crime, he came across a Jedi who showed him the error of his ways (while he was picking his pockets). After his initial surprise, he recognized Io's potential and advised Io to seek training in the ways of the force. Io searched the galaxy to find a suitable place where he could study and devote himself to the ways of the Force.
After a long search, I stowed away on board a freighter and when it came near Yavin IV to repair a mysterious malfunction to the Hyperdrive (Io had sabotaged it but made sure it was easy to fix). Io used an escape pod to get to the surface.
