"K'oyacyi."

— Soron's typical farewell (Mando'a: Stay alive)

Soron Skirata was a renowned Mandalorian bounty hunter, mercenary, and assassin. A human from Sundari, Soron was born into Clan Almec on the planet Mandalore, only to undergo a series of unusual events throughout his life that had him renounce tribe after tribe before he was finally adopted into Clan Skirata. Having been a part of Clans Almec, Ruus'la, Mereel, and eventually Skirata at different points in his life, Soron played key roles in Bre Vizsla's conquest of the Outer Rim Territories, Sek'nos Fah's as well as Adam'ska Rau's fire teams of Ori'ramikade (Mando'a: Supercommandos), and Araniik Almec's governorship over Mandalorian space. After being recruited into the Mandalorian Protectors by Jekai Kryze, Soron committed himself to Jaster Mereel's Supercommando Codex, and, with time, was pronounced the commander of this group of elite Mandalorian warriors. As Protector of Mandalore, Soron called upon the best and brightest of the Mandalorian Clans to resurrect a network of Clan representatives that established common goals and incentivized collective action among the Mandalorians by structuring the Clans into a mercenary military machine. Throughout his life, Soron raised a naturally born son as a Mandalorian and adopted as well as educated worthy outsiders to reinforce the warrior culture. He served as a royal guard and adjudicated most of his affairs by way of duels for the sake of honor and justice through single combat in accord with ancient warrior codes. Late into his career, Soron reforged the Vanguard of the Mandalorian Faithful by rallying fellow warriors and privateers to extend the rule of Mandalore over the honorable civilization.

Biography[]

Youth - A Path to Warriorhood & Becoming a Full-Fledged Mandalorian (Birth to Age 13)[]

Soron was born to Dia and Araniik Almec on the planet Mandalore, within the prosperous city of Sundari. Clan Almec, renown for ambitious political pursuits among the Mandalorians, was the tribe that raised Soron. At the early age of 7, he took interest in Mandalorian politics and philosophy, as he spent countless hours studying ancient texts in search of intellectual knowledge about his people's rich history, religion, and culture. Soron became well versed in the Resol’nare (Mando’a: Six Actions) by the age of 7, at which point he began his advanced training program under Araniik, his father, while Dia fostered his cultural education. Araniik sought to prepare Soron for the verd’goten, a final trial that tested a Mandalorian youth’s survival skills and military capabilities. Passed at the age of 13, this final trial confirms a youngling’s ability to fight—if passed, then the youth becomes a full-fledged Mandalorian warrior and, by societal standards, an adult. If this "coming of age" ends in failure, however, then the trainee dies on the field more often than not.

By the time that Soron turned the age of 12, Araniik’s duties to the recently inaugurated Mandalore Bre Vizsla diverted the old Almec’s attention from his son to the rally of the sole ruler. Araniik entrusted what remained of Soron’s training to the Mandalorian bounty hunter, Jaster Ruus’la, who Soron was to shadow for the remaining year of his military conditioning. After wishing farewell to his mother, father, and favorite cousin, Jekai Almec, Soron traveled the galaxy with Jaster so as to assist the man in hunt after hunt. The youngling established a strong bond with Jaster and gradually resented his biological father for abandoning him in the most vital aspect of his education—his very coming of age. With time, Soron started to call Jaster buir (Mando’a: father; parent) and eventually renounced Clan Almec in favor of adoption into Jaster’s family, Clan Ruus’la, as a ge'verd (Mando'a: almost-a-warrior; trainee).

In the city of Mos Gamos, on the planet Tatooine, Soron passed his verd’goten under Jaster by hunting down a deadly gang of Wookiees who owed a hefty amount of credits to a local Hutt. Having successfully tracked down and killed the militant Wookiees, as well as collected the bounties on their heads, Soron celebrated his coming of age with his adoptive father and new tribe as Soron Ruus’la, a full-fledged, adult Mandalorian warrior. At this ripe age of 13, Soron donned his full set of duraplast Mandalorian beskar’gam (Mando’a: iron skin; armor) proudly, and made it his mission to uphold the Resol’nare throughout his life. He occupied himself as a bounty hunter, taking up underworld contracts much like his adoptive father did, and he diverted a great portion of his welfare to the nomadic Clan Ruus’la.

Bre Vizsla's Conquest of Outer Rim Territories (Ages 13-18)[]

After his training, Soron and Jaster rallied to Mandalore Bre Vizsla, who led a number of Mandalorian Clans in his conquest of neutral star systems along the Outer Rim. Bre targeted worlds which were unaligned with either the ambitious One Sith Empire or their adversary, the rebellious Alliance and their Jedi Order. The sole ruler of the Mandalorians instead encouraged crusades against planets such as Rodia and Duros. Many members of conquered species were subjected to Mandalorian rule or otherwise inducted into the ranks and philosophy of the warrior culture.

Jaster experienced a series of disagreements with the alor (Mando’a: chieftain) of Clan Ruus’la, so he instead turned to the ideology and traditional warrior codes that the war chief of the Mandalorian Clans preached. The ruthless bounty hunter was so inspired that he renounced Clan Ruus’la in favor of adoption into Clan Vizsla, whereas Soron chose to remain with the tribe that adopted him. Until the age of 18, Soron served alongside Jaster Vizsla in warfare throughout the Outer Rim Territories, but father and son gradually grew apart.

Soron became well acquainted with one of Bre’s sons, Arue Vizsla, while they fought side by side during a handful of battlefronts in the Outer Rim; after their military operations, the two of them often hunted game together in Hutt space on planets such as Tatooine. For astounding success on the front lines, Soron received Bre Vizsla’s T-7 ion disruptor rifle, a deadly weapon that was commonly illegal throughout most of the galaxy for its ability to disintegrate a target in one shot by ripping them apart atom by atom. Soron found this weapon to be particularly useful in battles against the Jedi Order, which came to the stalwart defense of some neutral star systems that the Mandalorians aimed to conquer under Bre's rule.

By invading Geonosis and acquiring control of its droid factories in the early stages of his campaign, Bre outfitted Mandalorian infantry divisions with battle droids of an ancient design. Although his time in command saw to an increase in the induction of conquered species into Mandalorian culture and the expansion of Mandalorian influence over neutral Outer Rim worlds, Bre Vizsla’s regime was not without its flaws. Bre resourcefully allied the Mandalorians with the One Sith Empire, which helped the Mandalorian leader grow out his capital and build up his fleet, but ultimately led to a period of extreme oppression of Mandalorian space by Darth Vrana. In the aftermath of Bre’s death at the hands of a Sith who was seemingly unaffiliated with the One Sith Empire, the Mandalorians were in a state of disarray. Out of anger for the disobedience among the Mandalorians, Darth Vrana utilized a Sith artifact—the mysterious Phobis device—against the planet Mandalore and thereby spread hysteria among its population, which resulted in a considerable portion of the populace's extermination due to the horrors and abominations that were created by way of the Force.

Sek'nos Fah's and Adam'ska Rau's Supercommandos (Ages 18-22)[]

Upon Bre Vizsla’s death, Soron joined the ranks of the Ori’ramikade, who were under the command of Sek’nos Fah, a Mandalorian warrior of Clan Runi, and later Adam’ska Rau, the chieftain of Clan Rau. Soron painted his armor green so as to represent duty, traveled from covert to covert, especially throughout the Core Worlds region of the galaxy, and partook in special military operations against the One Sith Empire as part of this elite Mandalorian group. He adopted the callsign “Foba Bett,” both out of humor and to distance himself from his past as the son of Jaster Vizsla, whose crusader actions were deemed to be dishonorable by Soron’s warrior peers.

The Supercommandos borrowed heavily from Jaster Mereel’s True Mandalorians of old, as both Sek’nos and Adam’ska held the elite Mandalorian warriors under their command to a handbook that outlined professional military conduct and was inspired by the Supercommando Codex. From the age of 18, Soron followed the command of Sek’nos and later Adam’ska for four years as an Ori’ramikad, partaking primarily in infantry and boarding party operations against the high command of the One Sith Empire, as well as warriors of any Mandalorian Clans—or "zealots," as his commanders often identified them—still loyal to the Sith.

With the Mandalorians generally disorganized, thwarted, and leaderless in the years after Bre Vizsla's rule, Mandalorian space devolved into civil war. As the years progressed, Sek'nos Fah renounced not only his status as the commander of the Ori'ramikade, but also the Mandalorian way, for he shed his armor in order to reclaim his once abandoned Jedi lifestyle. Disgusted by Sek'nos' conduct, Adam'ska Rau took control of the Supercommandos, branded the previous commander as an adversary to the Mandalorians, and, what is even harsher by custom, officially proclaimed him to be dar'manda (Mando'a: one who has lost his Mandalorian heritage, identity, and soul; soulless).

Adam'ska continued to target star cruisers and facilities that belonged to the One Sith Empire, as he directed the Supercommandos to defend Mandalorian space and the people of Mandalore during what became known as the Phobis Wars. For years, the Supercommandos led the offensive against the One Sith Empire, destabilized its government by way of decisive strikes, defended Mandalore from Sithspawn, and, in conclusion, assisted the Alliance in the defeat of Darth Vrana on Coruscant.

Araniik Almec's Governorship Over Mandalorian Space (Ages 22-29)[]

Soron lost faith in the Ori’ramikade after Sek’nos turned his back on the Mandalorians, so after a few years of warfare under Adam’ska’s command, Soron finally decided to resign from his occupation as a Supercommando. He returned to his life as a bounty hunter and reached out to his underworld connections to score bigger jobs. The Mandalorian abandoned his sense of duty, scrubbed off his green colors, and donned blue and black paint, which represented his professional reliability and pursuit of justice as a mercenary. It was around this time that Jaster Vizsla, who had become a sort of rival over the years, dueled against Soron, broke many of his bones, and abandoned him on the streets of Coruscant to crawl to the nearest medical bay in a gesture of renouncement, which urged Soron to pay credence to Jango Fett's agent-for-hire code as a simplified version of some commandments of the Supercommando Codex. From that day on, he trusted no one, but used everyone to achieve what he believed was a virtuous way of life for any Mandalorian—being a highly paid soldier of fortune who fights for honor, glory, justice, victory, and family.

After he successfully undertook a series of operations for a number of (in)famous employers, including the Black Sun, various Hutt kajidics, and especially the Bounty Hunters’ Guild, Soron was contacted by his biological father. Araniik Almec told his son that in the years after Bre Vizsla’s death, he amassed leftover Imperial machinery and naval warships in hopes of bringing order back to Mandalorian space. Araniik asked Soron to give him a second chance, help him in this massive endeavor, and ultimately repair the familial bond that the two once shared. Easily persuaded by promises of political stability that his affectionate parent vowed to deliver, Soron accepted his father’s proposal and renounced Clan Ruus’la in order to rejoin his bui'tsad (Mando'a: biological family lineage).

Araniik and Soron contacted Clans not only across the Mandalore sector, but also throughout the thousands of star systems which fell into the eleven sectors that extended beyond the capital one. They offered the tribes that had relatively big amounts of warriors large sums of credits to form a militia. Working with what he had, Araniik welcomed all kinds of Mandalorians into his ranks, so he formed an army of rogue Clans, cloned Mandalorians, and even Force using or lightsaber wielding warriors. Although he never claimed the title of Mandalore, the old Almec became the self-declared governor of Mandalorian space, repurposed Bre's massive leftover Imperial fleet to enforce his rule, and bought or forcefully demanded the loyalty of the Clans that supported him. Araniik recognized a grave threat to his ambitions in the form of two Mandalorian factions, namely the Supercommandos that were still commanded by Adam’ska Rau and a Death Watch movement which was led by Overlord Slade Kryze and evolved out of Arue Vizsla's group of traditionalist warriors, the Aka'liit (Mando'a: Mandalorian Faithful). Araniik branded both Mandalorian groups as criminal entities and traitors to Mandalore, then established military blockades around most planets throughout the twelve sectors, with or without the support of local Clans.

While Soron rallied the militia, blockaded planets in the Outer Rim, and commanded battalions throughout Mandalorian space to assist his father, Death Watch and the Supercommandos united their military forces out of necessity rather than desire. They combined their troops and engaged in a guerrilla warfare offensive against Araniik's government so as to reclaim planets for the Mandalorian Clans. They liberated planet after planet until the governor’s rogue warriors were routed to the Mandalore sector. Soron's forces fell to Death Watch warriors on Mandalore's moon, Concordia, at which point the Watchers took the governor’s son captive. By then, Adam’ska Rau restructured the Supercommandos into the Mandalorian Protectors, so once Concordia’s shield generators and Mandalore’s defense cannons were sabotaged, Protector Jekai Rau, Soron's biological cousin, sent a spade through the governor’s skull amid a strike on the throne room in the city of Sundari. The Protectors killed Araniik Almec on Mandalore and thereby brought the war of liberation or reign of terror to an end.

Soron Skirata's Clean Slate (Ages 29-39)[]

Devastated by his father's death and its widespread coverage on Mandalorian channels, Soron spent weeks on Coruscant as a prisoner of Death Watch. His old acquaintance, Arue Vizsla, set him free on the condition that Soron would support Slade Kryze as Mandalore if the Overlord of Death Watch defeated any and all other challengers. Once the Overlord killed all the other contenders and rallied the Clans to expand the borders of Mandalorian space, Soron heeded Mandalore's rally, repainted his armor black and red to honor the just crusade as well as the memory of his dead father, and joined the battlefront to invade Taanab. Amid the conquest, one of Slade's warriors—an aggressive rally master who went by the nickname Lucky but eventually became known to Soron as Min—killed an unarmed farmer, which evoked outrage from the commander of the Protectors, Adam'ska Rau. He challenged Lucky to a duel but was cut down in single combat, which inflicted grief upon Adam'ska's protégé, Jekai Rau, who subsequently took up command of the Mandalorian Protectors.

Unable to stand the dishonor that was portrayed by some warriors of Death Watch, Jekai Rau challenged Slade Kryze to a duel and decapitated the cyborg with the ruler's own lightfoil. Although Jekai did not initially claim the title, he claimed chieftainship of Slade's tribe, adopted the Kryze name, and guaranteed that the dead war chief would be remembered as Mandalore the Merciless. He called upon various warriors who fought for the governor or Death Watch, including Soron and Lucky, in order to urge them to swear an oath, vow, or pledge that would renounce their past factions and allegiances. Soron readily renounced his biological father and was pardoned for his war crimes by association, which included, but were not limited to: the use of warriors who were twelve years old or just shy of becoming full-fledged Mandalorians, i.e. child soldiers; the establishment of illegal clone factories in Mandalorian space; and the issuance of orders for chosen champions to challenge the command hierarchies of Death Watch and the Mandalorian Protectors. Lucky, with whom Soron developed an intimate relationship, refused to swear by such an oath and instead retreated into self-exile in the Outer Rim. Being Soron's cousin by blood, Jekai gave the warrior a chance to reclaim his glory and honor by way of recruitment into the Mandalorian Protectors. With this present of cin vhetin (Mando'a: fresh start, clean slate; literally virgin snow), Jekai gave Soron an opportunity to prove himself as an elite warrior and worthy Mandalorian. Among his first acts of rectification was the infiltration of a dangerous Death Watch chapter on Corellia that was headed by Jorval 'Kad' Ordo, the grandson of A'denla 'Kad' Socarras, who historically came to be remembered as Mandalore the Reclaimer for the successful conquest of Coruscant decades earlier. Soron masterfully penetrated the organized terrorist group's security and remained in place as an entrusted operative who acted as a spy completely in-uniform; he managed to suppress Jorval's comms broadcasts, destabilized the rally of Mandalorian warriors to the cause, and conducted useful din'kartay (Mando'a: the sharing of military information and planning; SITREP; wash-up; intelligence) work for the Protectors.

Assigned to a hangar base on Concord Dawn, Protector Soron soon proved himself to be an expert pilot as he patrolled the Mandalore sector in search of any civil unrest throughout Mandalorian space. During this time, he came across Mandalorian mercenaries of Clan Mereel, who adopted him as their own, helped him develop an appreciation for Jaster Mereel's Supercommando Codex, and set him on an ethical path of redemption as Soron Mereel. He repainted his armor midnight blue and yellow to embody the spirit of reliable vengeance that was aimed at aruetii (Mando'a: outsider; foreigner; traitor) practices and influences, many of which he associated with his dead father. Whenever Soron did not repel unwanted outsiders (mainly criminal entities, pirates, and military patrol units) throughout the twelve sectors of Mandalorian space to help Jekai maintain financial power, economic stability, and the minimization of conflict between the Mandalorian Clans, Soron honed his skills as a mercenary. He once again actively occupied himself as a bounty hunter and even learned how to operate on blasters as an armstech weaponsmith with the assistance of Vyssh Vizsla, a Kaleesh Mandalorian blacksmith and armorer, who smelted pure beskar (Mando'a: Mandalorian iron/steel) to redesign Soron's gear into heavy combat armor that was composed of the virtually indestructible metal.

Although Clan Mereel helped Soron regain his sense of self as a warrior, he disliked how scattered the tribe was, as most of his vode (Mando'a: brothers; sisters; mates; comrades) preoccupied themselves with industry or mercenary work in different cities on Mandalore, yet rarely ever ventured out as a united company. During a lonesome hunt on Tatooine, Soron ran into Shev'la Skirata, whose mission it was to rebuild his tribe after it experienced a long period of infighting. Soron and Shev'la hunted down a local Jawa who terrorized the populace of Mos Espa and, with time, they grew close enough for Soron to renounce Clan Mereel in favor of being adopted into Clan Skirata as Shev'la's brother. Together, they adopted worthy Mandalorians into their tribe, among them Min "Lucky" Skirata.

Soron fell in love with Lucky despite their vast differences in personality and ideology. The two Mandalorians eventually formed a traditional love bond by way of marriage. He respected her tenacity and resilience as a warrior, although he often criticized her ruthlessness and compared it to Jaster's. He repainted his armor blue to represent his reliability as a Mandalorian Protector, and adopted two children: Ekuwa Skirata and Cruor Ordo (the latter of whom eventually renounced Clan Skirata in favor of adoption into Clan Ordo). With Lucky, Soron reared a natural born child on Mandalore whom they named Jango Skirata; they raised and educated their very own Mandalorian. Clan Skirata grew big, powerful, and respected as a Mandalorian tribe, for it attained an affinity for professionalism in the conduct of mercenary work, consistently defended its own, and built up a strong infantry that was supplemented by Canderous-class assault tanks as well as other armored fighting vehicles.

Protector of Mandalore (Ages 39-50)[]

A time came when Jekai finally claimed the title of Mandalore. He pronounced Soron the commander of the Mandalorian Protectors and rallied as many Clans as he could so as to urge them into pledges, oaths, and vows of loyalty to him. Jekai sought to foster independence and security throughout the twelve sectors of Mandalorian space with his plan to help the Clans achieve solidarity on the planets that they inhabited. In his attempt to safeguard Mandalore from any future invasions, Jekai instituted the Office of Mandalorian Intelligence (OMI), which erected defense structures, such as hypervelocity cannons, shutter shields, and even a laser defense grid around the planet. Over the course of his cousin's rule, Soron served as Jekai's royal guard and commanded patrols throughout the sectors.

Jekai was killed by one Zakkeg or Cantar of Clan Gra'tua, who won his duel through brute strength but fell thereafter in a duel against the Mandalorian swordswoman, Nicci Ordo. Nicci refused to take the title and made it known on Mandalorian channels that only a warrior with a natural following should rule the Clans as a True Mandalore. Soron agreed with the notion and reached out to various warrior Clans to resurrect a network of Clan representatives that convened to address common needs among the tribes even in times when the Mandalorians were leaderless. The Protectors refurbished the throne rooms in the cities of Sundari and Keldabe to rally Clan chieftains, which resulted in a mercenary contract with the New Republic, occasional military operations for the Galactic Empire under Empress Cress, and Mandalorians claiming much of the glory and fortune in a Great Hunt. Mandalorians who were willing to fight on battlefronts or hunt most wanted bounties (even Jedi and Sith) were offered fair rewards for their honorable work, which allowed the network to unite the Clans into an effective mercenary military machine.

As Protector of Mandalore, Soron committed himself to the maintenance of the balance that Jekai instituted. He recruited more elite warriors into the Mandalorian Protectors, including but not limited to: Lucky, Ekuwa, Vyssh, Tracyn Solus, Kote Kryze, a Mandalorian Karkarodon, Ne'tra Ky'ram, and a Mandalorian blacksmith and armorer, T'riss, with whom he often commandeered forges. At one point, during a patrol along the border of the Mandalore sector, Soron's Fang-class starfighter was forced to crash land by a numerous party of pirates, who routed him to the planet Ordo, where a tribe bearing the archaic shriek-hawk symbol of Death Watch took him captive. For two years, he was dragged across the dune seas without armor and threatened with murder by an explosive collar, until he managed to rewire a moisture vaporator with a stolen comlink to send out an SOS message. After his rescue by Protectors and nearby warriors alike, Soron adorned his armor with golden stripes again to signify his vengeance against any tribes who professed themselves Death Watch or Children of the Watch, as he was driven by retribution to exile or honorably execute their kind. His passion and strong desire for revenge raged on when he later learned that his daughter, Ekuwa, was also captured by Watchers, who collapsed a cave and brutally scarred her.

Jai'galaar

With Mandalorian space yet again declining into civil war, Soron gathered intelligence on four Mandalorian factions who vied for control: the Mandalorian Space Protectorate (remnants of Jekai's OMI), the Death Watch movement from Ordo (Soron's target for personal revenge), Imperial Mandalorians (who served the Empire on Byss), and Mandalore's standing army (which was eradicated on Mandalore by Imperials as the battlefront unfolded). Each faction had limited access to the variety of war technologies which were scattered throughout the Mandalore sector. Amid the indecisive squabbles of the network of Clan representatives, the chieftain of Clan Gra'tua recklessly pushed an ultimatum which would have turned the laser defense grid on the planet; he expressed no hesitation as he almost urged an allied faction into the obliteration of Mandalore. Sick and tired of the dangerous indecisiveness, Doctor Sho'tal Kata claimed the title of Mandalore and rallied the Clans to fight for Mandalorian space. The Protectors readily became her royal guards as she proved herself to be a hopeful prospect in the settlement of the disunity among the Mandalorians. Soron was ordered to hunt down and exile the chieftain of Clan Gra'tua for his carelessness, so Jekai's son and Soron's biological nephew, Protector Arden Kryze, personally dueled and executed the man. Vulk'ta Gra'tua succeeded the chieftainship, joined forces with the Imperial Mandalorians, and submitted to the command of the Dark Lords of the Sith—his tactical expertise in the first and final major space battle of the reclamation effort resulted in the deaths of thousands of Mandalorian warriors who were brave enough to push through the planetary blockade. The Mandalorian Clans joined efforts with the Mandalorian military, also known as Mandalore's standing army, which was obliterated in the early stages of the war by way of the Eclipse, an orbital cannon that the Imperials employed over the planet. Although split due to hostilities and a disagreement on whether to use a deadly war technology, Arc Pulse Generators, illegal or proscribed superweapons that targeted beskar armor, remnants of the Mandalorian Space Protectorate ultimately allied with and folded into the Clans after they put an end to the terrorist movement on Ordo. These elite warriors served as scouts and intelligence operatives amid the trench warfare on Mandalore once the Clans narrowly punched through the planet's blockade only to be stuck in dug out camps under massive shield generators. Years of stalemate combat, whereby Sith and Mandalorians alike died either by way of duels or special military operations, gradually battered down the entrenched defenses of the armored warriors. Some, such as Soron's brother, Shev'la, remained behind to wage guerilla warfare offensives, but the vast majority of the Mandalorians prudently retreated to survive, live, and fight another day once the Sith Empire's massive troop count took control of the advanced war machinery on world only to threaten the planet with complete destruction or annihilation.

Sho'tal Kata stepped down from the title and came to be remembered as Mandalore the Bonecarver. The retreat left many Clans bereft of pride and in desire of revenge. While the network of Clan representatives preoccupied itself with squabbles over how to continue the war effort without the loss of Mandalore, Empress Rowe of the Dark Lords of the Sith on Byss appointed an Imperial Mandalorian, Kandosii Kata, as the governor, viceroy, or ruler of the planet. In opposition, Min "Lucky" Skirata, Soron's wife and the very rally master who bested Adam'ska Rau in single combat on Taanab years ago, proved her mettle through spars against the chieftain of her own tribe as well as the champion and alor'ad (Mando'a: captain; second-in-command) of Clan Ordo so as to publicly claim the title of Mandalore. Although just before the war, Shev'la had relinquished chieftainship of Clan Skirata to Soron, he in turn bestowed the duty unto Lucky during the war to focus on his responsibilities as a Protector. Lucky later pronounced their daughter, Ekuwa, as the chieftain. The Mandalorian Protectors supported Lucky's cause to reclaim the ancestral planet from the Sith and thus rallied the network to her side. Soron was among the few advisors who recommended that the Clans imprison, rather than execute, Kandosii for his traitorous betrayal. The network, however, grew restless due to the absence of aggressive conduct by the Mandalorians, so at a regular rally to discuss war plans, they put it to a vote whether or not they support Lucky as Mandalore. Each and every chieftain either abstained from the vote or announced their lack of faith in her, except from Soron, who proclaimed support on behalf of the Mandalorian Protectors. Lucky cursed the chieftains and vowed to kill them all before her disappearance into self-exile again.

Without a sole ruler, the network of Clan representatives only grew more indecisive. Two prospects for the throne, Cassus 'Kad' Ordo, Jorval's adoptive son, and Saxon Kast of Clan Tal, were equally favored by the Mandalorian Clans in the capacity of war chief. They agreed to spar for the title and Saxon eventually defeated his adversary by a narrow margin in close quarters combat. Darth Nemesis, a Sith who Soron once hospitalized for the Guild when he left her for dead, acted on his initiative to persuade Empress Rowe into an audience with the newly inaugurated Mandalore. With the power of negotiation once again in the hands of the Mandalorians, Soron, Saxon, and Rowe finalized a treaty or non-aggression pact, which successfully levied more positive obligations against the Sith Empire than it did against the Clans. Saxon Kast came to be known as Mandalore the Oathmaker for his cunning ability to restore Mandalore in a feat of remarkable transitional justice. The Mandalorian Clans, represented by a sole ruler and war chief, were recognized as a sovereign entity within the galaxy with the right to govern the thousands of star systems which stemmed from the Mandalore sector. Mandalore the Oathmaker reorganized the Mandalorian Protectors into professional ranks with distinct color schemes for various royal guard, defense, or patrol roles, resurrected the Mandalorian military under the guidance of Field Marshal Cassus Ordo, and fostered bazaars, largescale trades, as well as festive sports games throughout Mandalorian space.

While Mandalore the Oathmaker reinforced the Mandalorian Clans as a galactic power base, a Mandalorian warrior who was known only by the namesake of his Clan, Lone, became the Overlord of Death Watch. He purposefully engaged in acts of aggression against the Dark Lords of the Sith and their Empire as he committed the theft of holocrons from their temples on Byss. Once he was deemed as a threat to the Clans because his actions violated the pact, he challenged Mandalore via Mandalorian comlink channels. Distrustful of the challenge due to rumors that Death Watch murdered regardless of who won duels, Mandalore nevertheless accepted the traditional fight. The Mandalorian Clans convened on Concordia to observe the combat. The Overlord wielded the Darksaber as a symbol of authority and commanded the respect of his war band, whereas Mandalore fought with a shield that was made of beskar and a Mythosaur axe. The Overlord eventually bested Mandalore the Oathmaker, killed Saxon to claim victory, and announced himself as the sole ruler of the Mandalorian Clans. The victor's first order officially dissolved Death Watch and made each warrior without a tribe the first of their Clan by right of namesake. The network of Clan representatives consolidated its strength and unity, secured a sense of political stability, revised most of its contracts with galactic governments (namely the Republic), balanced criminal syndicates (especially the Black Sun and the Hutt Cartel), and hunted down outsiders within Mandalorian space, especially Imperial remnant warlords, with the aim of their extermination. In an effort to quell local resistance against fellow shock troopers, Soron fought alongside warriors of Clan Kryze and the Sabaoth Coalition that was headed by Kyle Voss of Clan Tal'galar who commanded a droid army and conquered planetary systems which were just beyond the borders of officially charted Mandalorian space in acts of annexation and expansionism.

Whereas Soron functioned primarily as a royal guard under Saxon, his duties and obligations were those of a lawman or Journeyman Protector who patrolled Mandalorian space while Mandalore Lone ruled. Soron reinforced the ranks of the Protectors by regularly recruiting elite warriors, especially Mandalorian mercenaries, into the fold. Among his recruits was Saxon's son, Ciaphas Kast, who was a talented speeder racer and proven limmie champion. Soron maintained communication with the council of tribal chieftains or network of Clan representatives and delivered reconnaissance reports to Lone on the state of affairs among the Mandalorians. At one point, during a patrol throughout the Mandalore sector, Soron's Fang-class starfighter was caught in a tractor beam that forced him to land on Mandallia, where a military movement of Mandallian Giants operated signal jammers to block access to all comlink channels and even the HoloNet worldwide. Soron barely survived the wild hunt against each massive yet rudimentary hulk of a warrior who engaged in widespread terrorism against Mandalorians, forcing him to expend most of his ammunition and fuel to destroy enough jammers so as to send out a distress signal for fellow Mandalorians to help settle the attempted insurrection by the traitorous outsiders. Shortly after the uprising was quelled, the Clans gathered for a moot or rally of the network in the outskirts of Concord Dawn, where Soron narrowly defeated a Mandalorian warrior who challenged him to a duel for the right to command the Protectors and fought the incumbent with deadly beskar crushgaunts. In the Guild hall on the same planet, he was later ambushed by Dremn'sk, a half-Devaronian bounty hunter who used thermal detonators in an attempt to collect the hefty price on Soron's head throughout the Outer Rim, which developed out of a variety of petty planetary charges that some officials of galactic governments gradually inflated to the scale of a substantial regional bounty. To avoid execution upon defeat, the bounty hunter yielded and promised to be indebted to Soron as a partner on jobs. The half-Devaronian bounty hunter thus bravely but begrudgingly partnered up with Soron and the Mandalorian Protectors, who assisted the Grand Army of the Republic with their offensive assaults to reclaim Coruscant and defensive operations on Kamino as well as Bothawui to fortify clone factories and government buildings such as senate chambers against Sith Cultists who organized a modernized android army. After the victorious end to the war, the Supreme Chancellor of the New Republic provided compensation in credits, which Soron distributed as rewards for the completion of mercenary contracts. Soron also sold several looted lightsabers on the black market to generate an enormous profit, and he honored select warriors, particularly among the Protectors and his bounty hunter partner, with some of the trophies or spoils of war from the fallen Sith. Under Mandalore Lone, Soron's career as a soldier of fortune prospered, for in his free time he worked as an enforcer for a Vigo of the Black Sun and at least a couple of Hutt kajidii, one of whom sponsored the Protector of Mandalore with a token to participate in the Guild's Great Hunt.

Over time, Soron grew estranged from Lucky, to the extent that they declared themselves shuk'la riduurok (Mando'a: a broken love), so he repainted his armor from green to gray as a sign of the fact that he mourned a lost love. Under the guidance of Ekuwa, who obtained substantial shares in the Mandalorian tech-company, MandalMotors, many warriors of Clan Skirata, including Soron, additionally occupied themselves as mechanics to operate on starships and infantry vehicles that made up Mandalore's military-industrial complex. Soron's daughter, whom he often lauded for bringing glory to the family, even honored him with a custom made Balutar-class swoop speeder bike, with which he won several swoop races. Ekuwa recorded gracious reflections on the Mandalorian way of life that reaffirmed Soron's conviction to faithfully follow the Mandalorian Creed as well as elements of the nation's or people's ancient religion by way of adherence to the warrior culture's codes of conduct, including the Canons of Honor, in accord with which he expressed sincere loyalty to Clan Skirata, cultivated his strength or capacity for self-defense, victoriously accumulated personal glory, and was prepared to die with valor whenever faced with a noble test or trial. While he raised, mentored, and educated Ekuwa closely, Soron was more distant with his natural born son, Jango Skirata, who did not always seem to heed his lessons about the unconditional treatment of Watchers as zealots and adversaries of the Mandalorians. His adoptive son, Cruor Ordo, also decided to settle down once and for all on his homeworld Dathomir, so the emancipated Zabrak gladiator respectfully shed his armor and returned it to Clans Ordo and Skirata; to honor him, Soron repainted and donned the warrior's helmet with metal spikes or beskar horns atop the dome.

Despite earning significant capital gains due to occasional hunts against fallen Jedi and being on retainer for several clients as an agent-for-hire, Soron's fate and fortune changed when the galaxy experienced a supply chain crunch in respect to a particular commodity: Mk I Saberdarts. Usually produced on Kamino, MK I Saberdarts were suddenly sparse because the recent war stalled hyperspace trade routes for long enough to cause transport logistics issues among weapons manufacturers, which made Soron panic and travel far in an effort to seek out the raw materials for the construction of the deadly assassination tools himself. The Protector piloted his Fang-class starfighter beyond the edges of the galactic map into relatively uncharted Wild Space, where he successfully navigated all the way to Indoumodo to capture a mass of kouhun arthropods. He extracted their lethal venom—a fatal and quick-acting neurotoxin—for the production of a large surplus of Kamino saberdarts. Unfortunately, however, the Mandalorian weaponsmith got lost in the process. Unable to engage neither his starfighter's hyperdrive nor its navigation computer, Soron struggled to find a way back to the galaxy. Running on the final fuel reserves in his fighter, he barely pierced the atmosphere to land on the planet Zakuul, where abandoned ancient refineries allowed him to restock. While he explored the inhospitable planet in search of clues on how to navigate out of Wild Space, Soron was ambushed by a huge Iknayid queen spider, which nearly mauled him to death in the swamps until the beast suddenly floated in the air just prior to being able to deliver the killing blow against the Mandalorian. Although disoriented, he seized the moment and struck the gigantic monster dead. To Soron's surprise, he deduced that a small green creature of a mysterious species who was suddenly sleepy nearby had moved the spider with its mind by way of the Force, which saved him from a fatal wound. The death of the queen soon attracted her whole brood, which consisted of hungry Iknayid spiders of varying sizes who were made doubly aggressive by the pheromones that enveloped Soron and the little child. Indebted to the child for having saved his life from the spider, Soron rescued the creature in turn, for they jetpacked away from the swarm and piloted off-world in the starfighter. After the rescued child rested, it woke up on the armored lap of a half conscious and heavily wounded Soron within the cockpit. Once again, it used the Force to save Soron, this time by healing his poisonous injuries and sealing his gushing wounds. Wholeheartedly grateful that his life was saved, Soron promised to take care of the child until it came of age to decide its path. Hopeful about his return, the Protector of Mandalore engaged his starfighter's sublight engine and did his best to trek back to the galaxy.

Soron w- Boba & Cassus on Ord Mantell

Soron with Boba & Cassus on Ord Mantell

With the help of ancient maps that he recovered on Zakuul and by the grace of luck, Soron managed to gradually return to the galaxy with the little green creature, whom he named Boba. Forced to land on the first habitable planet due to engine and hull damage after narrowly navigating through an asteroid belt, the two found themselves on Ryloth for repairs. They traveled along hyperspace trade routes toward the Mandalore star system, stopping by Ord Mantell and Kalevala on their way to resupply. During their adventure, they touched base with the chieftains and warriors of Mandalorian Clans Ordo and Kryze, from whom they learned that Mandalore Lone retired, so Soron's prodigal son, Jango Skirata, claimed the throne and title after defeating all other challengers in a grand tournament. Among the slain contestants was the chieftain of Clan Werda, Werde Werda, who operated out of a historic Hutt palace in the sand dunes of Tatooine as the Daimyo of Mos Eisley for some time before his death. Eager to reacquaint with his family, Soron took Boba to the heart of the Mandalore sector in Mandalorian space. Upon their reunion within the throne room in the prosperous city of Sundari, Jango quested his father with the education of Boba as a Mandalorian Foundling, so he reclaimed his familial duties and responsibilities as alor'ad to conduct the gai bal manda (Mando'a: literally name and soul) with her, a solemn adoption ceremony that inducted the mysterious child into Clan Skirata as Boba Skirata. While Ekuwa was otherwise preoccupied, Soron redirected his family's fortune and investments in the Mandalorian military-industrial complex, particularly their capital gains from shares of MandalMotors, toward Mandalore's crusade, for he believed it to be a great honor to wage a war of conquest throughout all star systems for his galactic nation, which was united into a single military force in the name of his son, who managed to fend off all challengers to the title, even revanchist chieftains. Soron also resumed his obligations as a Journeyman Protector when he followed Mandalore's orders to track down Agol Saxon, who was officially exiled due to his affiliation with foreign galactic governments and deemed to be a dishonorable traitor by tribal chieftains after his tenure as the Mandalorian Protector Alorir (Mando'a: General, literally lead) resulted in the torture and murder of a captive Clan Kryze warrior. As a Mandalorian Protector, Soron used the HoloNet and various hyperwave comlink channels to rally Mandalorians for a hunt on Tatooine, where he suspected Agol was fortified by unruly outsider criminal groups, including the Exchange, who were organized into a shogunate by the Daimyo of Mos Eisley. To reinforce Mandalorian control over a hyperspace trade corridor while internal squabbles among the Dark Lords of the Sith produced a galactic power vacuum after Lone—who came to be remembered as Mandalore the Sovereign—resigned for Jango to rule, Soron initiated logistical inter-planetary operations between recently annexed Obroa-skai and Corsin. He commanded Protectors and warriors of the Mandalorian Clans to increase patrols along the Braxant Run to convoy scheduled transportation of tanks and Gauntlet starfighters via the Celanon Spur for final delivery to Ord Mantell in order to quell hostile outsiders and spark conflict with the Galactic Empire to contest whether the planet was in their orbit of power.

Soron's hunt for Agol ultimately led him to Ord Mantell, which was a neutral territory that fell under concomitant spheres of influence between the locally garrisoned Empire and Mandalorian occupiers. While on the hunt alongside a fellow Mandalorian beastmaster, Soron traced Agol's goons and thugs to the planet's slums. The two hunters dispatched most of the armed outsiders with concussive or otherwise non-lethal means, but while jetpacking after an escaping combatant who sprinted around the corner of the street, Soron was ambushed by a heavy gunner whose blaster bolt clipped the Mandalorian's pauldron mid-air, which urged him to reflexively fire a couple of explosive darts upon his adversary's location via his Mandalorian vambrace. Although the darts were only composed of a simple sulfuric mixture that exploded with a force no more devastating than an impact grenade, the destruction of his opponent out of instinctive self-defense incidentally triggered a chain reaction in a fuel depot under the slums, which resulted in a massive detonation of a residential area. Unarmed civilians of various ages were accidentally annihilated and millions of credits in property damage was caused. After interrogating the captives, Soron learned that the outsiders worked with the Empire. The incident sparked a brief battlefront between the Empire and the Mandalorians once Cassus Ordo, then the Field Marshal of the Fighting Corps, took over jurisdiction of all the war assets in the Celanon Spur to fight for Ord Mantell. Bewildered by his own actions, as everyone from the Empress to the network of Clan representatives sought to question his hunt once he was slandered by Agol's broadcast of highly selective if not outright doctored video footage of the incident, Soron retreated into self-exile to focus on training and raising baby Boba as a Mandalorian Foundling.

Forgiveness & Redemption - Way of the Mandalore & Vanguard of the Mandalorian Faithful (Ages 50-PRESENT)[]

"I swear on my name, and the names of the ancestors, that I shall walk the Way of the Mandalore, and that the words of the Mandalorian Creed, Six Actions, Canons of Honor, and the Supercommando Codex shall be forever forged in my heart.""

— Soron's oath as he bathed in the Living Waters of the caves deep below the mines of Mandalore

While in self-exile, Soron gradually taught Boba the basics of his native tongue, Mando'a, and showed her fundamental map-reading skills to navigate his stylized Fang-class starfighter. He trained her to use a custom-made kom'rk (Mando'a: forearm gauntlet, Mandalorian vambrace) that he installed with an ascension cable or grappling hook, stun blaster, and repulsor, the latter of which emitted shockwaves capable of repelling enemies in a similar manner to a Force push. For nearly two years, Soron and Boba traveled the galaxy in pursuit of low scale bounties to avoid attention while the Mandalorian renegade's wanted level continued to climb throughout the Outer Rim as he was charged with alleged crimes by even more galactic governments. During their travels, Soron reflected on the culture, politics, and philosophy of the Mandalorians as he reckoned himself an apostate whose unintentionally barbarous behavior required redemption. Once the heat died down, Soron returned from self-exile with baby Boba to the capital city of Sundari on the planet Mandalore and gathered several high-ranking Mandalorians to witness his attempt to ritually seek forgiveness for his transgressions and reconnect with the ancient warrior codes of his honorable civilization. Soron removed his helmet one last time to offer his dearest beloved daughter a gentle Keldabe kiss before bathing in the Living Waters of the caves deep below the mines of Mandalore, during which he uttered a solemnly ceremonious oath to walk the Way of the Mandalore and forever forge the words of certain ancient warrior codes in his heart. However, although he was redeemed and felt reborn in the name of honor, Soron's heart remained wracked by guilt for his many transgressions, which further urged him to reflect on the ancient Mandalorian religion, rectify the mistakes of his past with rallies of unity, and deify unrestricted warfare against all outsiders whom he deemed to be renegades or terrorists.

While submerged in the Living Waters, Soron saw a vision that recurred to him in his dreams. Soron saw that the Mandalorians of all banners were united under a great Mythosaur, tamed by a powerful warrior leader who stood atop the massive beast in full combat armor as a symbol of strength and authority throughout the galaxy. Inspired by the vision, Soron reacquainted with his family and found safe coverts where baby Boba could continue to be raised as a Mandalorian Foundling. After reclaiming the duty and responsibility of chieftain while promoting his niece, Dyno Skirata, to the rank of Alor'uus (Mando'a: Corporal) so that she could oversee the training of ge'verde, including his little green daughter, Soron sought out Solus Ha'rangir, who claimed the throne after Jango retired from the title as Mandalore the Brazen, like his predecessor, the chieftain of Clan Lone and wielder of the Darksaber. The Protector pledged fealty to Solus Ha'rangir and received Mandalore's blessing to reforge the Aka'liit (Mando'a: Mandalorian Faithful), a religious group which quickly attracted Mandalorian artisans, scientists, manufacturers, laborers, and hunters who espoused the ancient warrior codes, especially the Mandalorian Creed, Six Actions, Canons of Honor, or Supercommando Codex. Among other leaders of clans, tribes, houses, and various Mandalorian groups, Soron worked with then Cabur Al'verde (Mando'a: Protector Commander), Dru Kryze; the Field Marshal of the Mandalorian Fighting Corps (Mandalore's standing army or Mandalorian military), Ghorrik Socarras; the head of the Kad'aran (Mando'a: Saber Guard; Mandalorian Knights), Val Mereel; the chieftain of Clan Eldar; and the chieftain of Clan Tenau, who brought other Children of the Watch into the fold, so as to reform the Alor'a Aka'liit (Mando'a: Vanguard of the Mandalorian Faithful). As a collective of warriors and privateers, the Vanguard of the Faithful extended the rule of Mandalore over the honorable civilization of the Mandalorians with an emphasis on the protection of Mandalorian Foundlings; the deification of war itself; and fighting for a brighter future through trial and adversity against the remnants of the Pirate Nation and other competitive outsider entities throughout the galaxy.

Soron unexpectedly learned from his brother, Shev'la Skirata, and a fellow Mandalorian Protector as well as comrade-in-arms whom he trained, Tor Kryze, that Dyno Skirata was assassinated by a lightsaber wielder in Coronet City on the planet Corellia. He immediately reached out to fellow warriors of Clans Socarras and Kryze as well as Nohlan Ketra of the Tribe on Nevarro, a Child of the Watch who was honored by a part of Dyno's iron skin sometime before her assassination. Having recovered her body, Tor found that Dyno was entirely stripped of her beskar armor. After they carefully transported her body to the capital city Sundari on the planet Mandalore, where Dyno Skirata had earlier given her vows in the Living Waters of the caves below the mines to bravely fight for her family, Soron and Tor prepared a funeral pyre. Experiencing a sincere aay'han (Mando'a: bittersweet perfect moment of mourning and joy), the Mandalorians who were gathered remembered and celebrated Dyno Skirata as her father, Shev, lit the pyre with his wrist mounted flamethrower. The next-of-kin and fellow members of Clan Skirata appropriately claimed Dyno's recovered weapons and possessions as memorials before Soron took care of the final cremation process by gathering the ashes into a golden urn. Once everyone paid their respects, including the Mandalorian Foundling, baby Boba Skirata and Mandalore Solus Ha'rangir, Soron shared the reconnaissance that he collected: a detailed holographic projection of a fight among several red lightsaber wielders on Corellia whom he considered to be suspects in the murder. The Mandalorian asked each warrior to assist him in hunting down the suspects for interrogation until they could find the ultimate culprit. Fueled by vengeance, warriors of Clan Skirata vowed to take revenge against the lightsaber wielding assassin and many among the Vanguard of the Mandalorian Faithful pledged to join the hunt. After delivering Dyno's ashes to Shev's family farmstead on Concord Dawn, the tribe immediately set about tracking. Reaching out to various bounty hunter contacts and information brokers, Soron managed to determine the names, titles, and locations of some suspects. Although he renewed his license with the Guild across the Core Worlds to resume a stable source of income, the Mandalorian gradually diverted most of his efforts and private capital to the pursuit of intelligence on a diverse variety of suspected Sith in a bid to conduct disruptive information warfare against several sorcerers as he sought out his family's targets for revenge.

Mandalore Solus Ha'rangir rallied Mandalorians of all worlds to rescue the chieftain of Clan Lone, who was the rightful wielder of the Darksaber and formerly Mandalore the Sovereign. Soron joined the operation that entailed a voyage into the Unknown Regions, where their Mandalorian corvette was unexpectedly hurled into a desolate planet by a Summa-Verminoth. Although the rescue team found Lone on the world of solace, the massive beast guarded the planetary starship graveyard, instantaneously sensing out all active engines from orbit only to destroy any vessel that attempted to escape. With the combined ingenuity of all the Mandalorians present, the warriors plotted a plan to use a superweapon that Lone crashed with on world, a huge beskar spear or lance that could theoretically tear through anything in the galaxy if fired fast enough. The Mandalorians enlisted the help of all survivors and locals, even Jes'tula Tor'dok, an infamous leader of space pirates who had been frozen in carbonite while stranded and contributed invaluable repair work to the Albatross, Lone's starship, with which they launched the atmospheric attack against the monster. In the final moments of the launch, all the Mandalorians aboard had to brace for impact as the firing winch or mechanism failed to trigger, requiring a direct thrust forward to ram the affixed beskar superweapon into the gargantuan creature. Although Jes'tula was mortally wounded by the crash, the injured Mandalorians collectively opened fire on the beast, Soron utilizing his NT-242 disruptor rifle to disintegrate many of the dying behemoth's eyes. One warrior, Nyla, fell through the windshield of the Albatross on top of the Summa-Verminoth along with the Darksaber, so she used it mid-battle to drive the blade through the monster's skull. Given that he was essentially defeated by the beast insofar as he lost the blade to the crash while Nyla technically slay the Summa-Verminoth, Lone pronounced Nyla the rightful wielder of the Darksaber. The local survivors showered the Mandalorians with gifts and rewards, including signets of the Summa-Verminoth and a tamed dewback that Soron gladly accepted, affixing the symbol to the right side of his chest plate as a badge of honor.

Upon returning to the Mandalore sector in Mandalorian space aboard a shuttle along with fellow combatants, Soron spent a considerable amount of time in a Keldabe covert, where he was perturbed by a horrible illness and nausea that lingered due to the Dark Side influence of the Summa-Verminoth. Unaware of the reason for his recovery from sickness, Soron was healed by the Light Side of the Force that baby Boba emanated to negate the warping effects that kept him bed-ridden. Once recovered, the ace pilot learned that Nyla fought and bested Solus Ha'rangir, only to be defeated in single combat by a fellow Mandalorian mercenary, Kast, who also partook in the rescue operation and helped fell the gargantuan Force sensitive monster. All the warriors sought justice through single combat and resolved their duels without fatalities until Kast emerged victorious as the rightful wielder of the Darksaber. Kast claimed the title of Mandalore, Solus Ha'rangir resumed as the Commander of the Protectors, and Nyla was appointed as the Field Marshal of the Fighting Corps, which transitioned into an infantry group honoring the legacy of Death Watch or Children of the Watch by mandating the shriek-hawk on every combatant. After a successful strike against an agricultural Sith settlement by the Fighting Corps in the Outer Rim, during which Soron guaranteed air dominance in his Fang-class starfighter, Jai'galaar, by clearing any regrouping troopers who fled the raided military base with precision attacks from the sky, Mandalore Kast broadcasted a holographic projection to the HoloNet acknowledging his past as Darth Kyroth, executing all the surrendered prisoners (particularly the captive Sith and Imperial soldiers), and assuring loyalty to the Mandalorians. Once the network of Clan representatives was gathered in the ashes of the outpost, Soron publicly pledged his support to Mandalore Kast as the chieftain of Clan Skirata on the condition that the sole ruler and war chief continue to wield the Darksaber responsibly, for the blade was not only a symbol of strength and authority among the Mandalorians, but also had the historical potential to unite or destroy the people. Reassured by Kast's vows while the commander-in-chief was hailed as Mandalore the Harbinger, Soron promised to rally the Vanguard of the Mandalorian Faithful as a Protector, Supercommando, and privateer to wage divine warfare against the Sith in accordance with Kast's call to arms. The chieftain of Clan Skirata shared holographic reconnaissance along with the list of Sith targets to interrogate as part of his tribe's quest for just retribution and contributed military assets to prepare a fleet against the sorcerer adversaries whom he viewed as a trial that his warrior people and culture had to overcome.
