ESCAPE

ESCAPE is a new and exciting movie production in Star Wars Role Play which will feature real, everyday members of the community in the cast and production team. This page will be updated regularly with information on the story, characters, locations and plot developments.

ESCAPE is about a shuttle crash on a mysterious Imperial controlled planet. The series on YouTube ran for 2 seasons with a total of 13 episodes all shot in Star Wars Galaxies. The production has moved over to Second Life for ease of story telling abilities and set design. The Trilogy of movies planned By TWINE LIGHT MEDIA is set to become some of the biggest & most complex of any Machinima projects yet made inside Second Life. ESCAPE will be based along the lines of Mace Windu and The Secret of Tet-Ami story, in which there is a Time Loop.

Each episode was broken up into a small plot with flashbacks of a certain character, revealing maybe important information about them or the over all story. A big influence on this story is ABC's LOST. The planned movies will bring the story to a close as well as bring the fans of Second Life SWRP together. Rumours not confirmed yet, have surfaced that TIME TRAVEL will be a minor story point in the trilogy. TWINE LIGHT MEDIA have not confirmed or denied this possability. Some Real Life actors are providing the voices in these productions, as well as other SWRP fans within Second Life. Kerian Twine is said to be running the entire project.

ESCAPE PART ONE is planned to be the backstory of the shuttle crash & survivors. Revealing information on each of them, and more on the Imperials. Through the course of the movie, the planet will "move" as Hypt does in the last episode of the series. Some of the survivors will also be rescued and some will remain because of this movement. Also connections of the characters and their role in the over all story will be hinted at. This movement isn't random, so whatever happens, it's all connected.

ESCAPE PART TWO is the sequel currently in writing stage. It'll centre on the series main character, Lyder Norris who was rescued in the episode Code 14 - 90, and begin to set up the final End Game. His role is important to the over all story, and his route back to the planet, which by now has moved. Only about half an hour of the actual movie will be the "return phase" A few references to my favourate books will be in this movie so watch for them! It'll reveal more on the planet's history & how some of the rescued survivors from PART ONE help him return. Characters who you didn't think would help will, and new locations will be explored. The movie will be left on a large cliffhanger, in which the audience will not have a clue on what'll happen next.

ESCAPE PART THREE is the planned second sequel which right now is still in writing stage. Enermies from Star Wars novels or RP will feature in this final movie. The story will be rounded off with a nice end that does it justice. The final story is being kept private to a select few who are involved with its creation.

Time Travel

Ever since we announced that time travel would play a part in the ESCAPE trilogy, alot of SWRP fans of Second Life have queried this story device. In Star Wars novels, Time Travel is mear accident 90% of the time. In ESCAPE it will be accident, but shown to not be. Writing a story as complex, multi layered & heartbreaking as this, has emotionally drained me for a while and Kerian Twine is taking some time out from it. Everything comes full circle and the story will be rounded off nicely, but left open for further stories to take place in the same RP universe.

Season Two

2.1 THE DANGER IN A FLASHFORWARD A WOOKIE CALLED LOPE WITNESSES AN ESCAPE POD CRASH ON TATOOINE AND IS SCARED OF WHO IT IS. A MAN NAMED SHIRAZ WANTS ONE OF THE IMPERIAL GUYS KILLED FOR KNOWING TO MUCH & LYDER IS INTRODUCED TO MORE OF THE SQUAD. FLASHBACK: LYDER

2.2 THE OTHER STORY IS ONE FLASHBACK OF GRAZIAK AND WHAT HAPPENED AFTER HE LEFT LYDER. HE DISCOVERS A SHUTTLEPORT ON THE PLANET AND IS TOLD TO HEAD NORTH TO RESCUE. AN ASSASSIN CALLED LIPPE KILLS HIM UNDER THE GENERALS ORDERS. FLASHBACK: GRAZIAK

2.3 THE BEGINNING LYDER IS GETTING FUSTRATED AND WANTS TO GET OFF THIS PLANET. A REBEL SHIP IS SPOTTED TO BE ON THE WAY TO THE PLANET, AND A REBEL SPY IN THE JUNGLE CLAIMS TO KNOW LYDER & PROMISES HIM A WAY HOME. FLASHBACK: LYDER

2.4 COMMUNICATION THE REBEL SPY, MALAKI & LYDER MAKE CONTACT WITH THE SHIP EN ROUTE TO THE PLANET WHERE HAVEL IS. FLASHBACK: HYPT

2.5 IDENTITY A FLASHBACK ON LYDERS FATHER, JAMES, WHO TURNS OUT TO BE THE ASSASSIN, LIPPE. HE WALKS OUT ON LYDER AS A CHILD AND JOINS THE EMPIRE. HE LANDS ON TITAN ONE AND IS GREETED BY HYPT AND THE GENERAL ASKS HIM TO CARRY OUT HIS FIRST ASSASSINATION JOB. FLASHBACK: JAMES

2.6 ESCAPE HAVEL & RESCUE HAVE ARRIVED. MALAKI GETS LYDER TO THE SOUTH BEACH WHERE THEY PICK THEM UP. THE GENERAL APPEARS WITH A SQUAD AND DEMARDS LYDER TO STAY, BUT HE REFUSES. THE SHIP FLYS OFF INTO SPACE AND THE GENERAL REMARKS THAT "HE'LL COME BACK". FLASHBACK: MALAKI

Special Episode

CODE 14-90 EPISODE OPENS WITH LOPE TELLING US WHO IS IN THE ESCAPE POD. A MAN ON ENDOR WHO IS COMMUNICATING WITH LOPE IS WORRIED AND ASKS OR EVIDENCE ON LYDERS APPEARANCE AND TO MEET HIM AT THE SAFE HOUSE. LYDER IS ON THE SHIP HAPPY, WHILE HAVEL TRYS TO BLOCK TRANSMISSIONS TO THE SHIP. HAVEL CALLS HIM UP AND TELLS HIM THAT THEY CAN'T JUST LAND & CARRY ON AS NORMAL AS EVERYONE BELIEVES THIM & THE PASSENGERS TO BE DEAD. SO SHE PUTS HIM INTO AN ESCAPE POD AND THROWS HIM AT TATOOINE. IN A FLASHFORWARD, LYDER IS ADDRESSING THE COURT ABOUT HIS STORY IN WHICH HE'S NOT BELIEVED AND IMPRISONED. BACK ON THE PLANET, THE GENERAL ORDERS HYPT TO CARRY OUT CODE 14-90 AND DEMARD THAT JAMES LEAVES. HYPT ENTERS AN UNDERGROUND STATION AND CARRY'S OUT THE CODE. CODE 14-90 MAKES THE PLANET DISAPPEAR AND APPARENTLY "MOVE". ITS CURRENT LOCATION IS UNKNOWN. FLASHFORWARD: LYDER, LOPE & UNKNOWN MAN

Lyder Norris

Before the crash. Lyder in the Rebellion

Before the Crash

Lyder's father had walked out on him and his mother when he was just ten years old. Lyder worked for the Rebel Alliance, Spying on Imperial Traders and other Employees. He quit after he received an order to kill a smuggler, which he absolutely refused to do. Later on, he met Havel at an unknown time. They fell in love and subsequently married, and years later, divorced. After they had split they both went their separate ways. Havel moved to Tatooine, and he moved to Naboo. Havel called him to ask that he might come to Naboo so that they could sort things out between each other. On the way he received a call to say his father's body was found on Dathomir in a crashed ship. He flew to Tatooine, met with Havel briefly before embarking on his journey to Dathomir. Of course he never made it, instead crashed on a planet named 'Titan One'. (Yavin)

After the Crash

Only Lyder and Graziak woke up in the water and swam to the nearest shore. They soon became friends of sorts. However, they fell out on 'Day Two' because Lyder was interested in finding help and wanted to take the role of leader, but Graziak refused to be told what to do. They split and went separate ways, never to see each other again.

Lyder was found by an Imerial Enforcer named Hypt. He was captured and brought to the Temple, where an Imperial Garrison were stationed. He was kept inside for a few days before being released and forced to join them. An old friend of his called Orad was discovered on the planet, and left days later.

A Rebel spy came to the planet fourteen days after the crash, looking for Lyder, and he found him. His mission was to get Lyder off of the planet, expose it, and take him home. Malaki allowed Lyder to comm the ship that was on the way to the planet, as his ex-wife Havel was on board. After having realised on Tatooine that they DID love each other, they expressed their love for each other over the comm before finally being reunited.

After the Rescue

Once Lyder left the planet with Malaki & Havel, the General decided to activate Code 14-90. Unknown to some on the surface, he order Hypt to follow this command to keep Titan One safe from others & Lyders possible return. The planet moved, shortly after Lyder's departure. After crashing in an Escape Pod on Tatooine, he was picked up by an unknown man, who wanted to help him. Lyder expressed that he had been floating in space for weeks after a shuttle crash, and he was the soal survivor. The Galactic Court of Justice, didnt believe this story, and have imprisoned him under further investigation.

He is currently inprisoned on Rori.

Graziak Kloon

First Appearance - Arrival Part ONE

Last Appearance - The Other Story (flashback)

Before the crash

Before the crash, Graziak was a smuggler and made his living from thievery. He got hold of something known as the "Organist's Hydrem". The purpose and function of the "Organist's Hydrem" is yet unknown.

After the crash

He was seperated with Lyder on day 2, and was killed by James. Graziak discovered a spaceport on the planet, and a shuttle. He found it that it did not fly, and was subsequently sent north to find help. Of course, help didn't come. Only James came, to kill him.

After the rescue

He was by this point Graziak had been killed. His body location is unknown.

Orad Kloon

First Appearance - Arrival Part TWO

Last Appearance - The Truth

Before the crash

Best friend of Lyder. The 2 seem to have known each other for years. Until Lyder had an affair with Orad's wife. Orad found out, and instead of confronting him, he ran away. Years later he made it to Titan One.

After the crash

Helped bring Lyder with Hypt to the temple. He hasn't been seen since.

After the rescue

There were runmours of Orad's departure of the planet a few days before movement. But it is unknown where Orad is.

Hypt

Hypt before the planet moved

Before the crash

Not much is known about Hypt before the crash. His wife was in hospital for an unknown reason. One day she was asassinated and left for dead. Hypts' real name was Kilkin and he felt alone and abandoned in the galaxy. He later saw revenge by joining the Empire. He seems to have lived on this planet for a number of years. He was on Kashyyyk and was shot by an unknown clan who knew he was about to go to Titan One. He lost his arm because of this confrontation. Was on the planet before James arrived, because he introduced James to the General.

After the crash

Brought Lyder to the temple after the crash. Found Graziak's dead body in the mountains. Interviewed Lyder a few days later, enrolled Lyder into the Imperial forces, and kind of became friends with him.

After the rescue

Was ordered by The General to move the planet incase Lyder brought others back. He saw James shortly before this, and then entered the underground station and moved the planet. His current wereabouts after the movement, are unknown.

The General

Commander Harris with the Sith

Before the crash

The Imperial General is a mystery to the story. He seems to have been on Titan One for a number of years. His role is everything over all and where he gets his orders from are unknown at this point in time.

After the crash

Ordered the Imperails on the planet and they followed his orders. He seemed be under control from a higher authority but this was never proved nor shown. He was very aware of Lyder's presence, and made sure he didn't leave. He failed however, when Malaki & Havel located the planet and rescued him.

After the rescue

Ordered Hypt to move the plant to an unknown location at this time. He remained on the planet when it moved.

Commader Harris

Nothing is known of Harris before the shuttle crash.

After the crash

Not alot is known of Harris after the crash. He seems to work for the Imperials or the Sith.

After the rescue

Informed an unknown looking Sith, that the planet had been moved and Lyder was in the Imperial hands.

Factions

The Empire

The Empire is the centre of the SWRP series & movie, ESCAPE. They occupy a planet called Titan ONE, that orbits Dathomir. It is unknown how long the Imperials have been on Titan ONE, but at some point, a shuttle flying to Dathomir breached the atmosphere of Titan ONE, causing a crash. The Imperials reported those who crashed dead, and a story went out that the shuttle was never found. They lost control when Lyder, a passenger of the shuttle, managed to escape the planet with a Rebel spy Malaki. Titan ONE's location is currently unknown, due to its ability to be moved from a location.

The Rebel Alliance

The Rebel Alliance is part of the SWRP series & movie ESCAPE. Not much is known of the Rebel Alliance at this current part of the timeline, but they are aware of Titan ONE and arrive there to rescue survivor, Lyder Norris. Malaki seems to work for them, as did Lyder did at one point before quitting. They are set however to become a huge part in the Trilogy of SWRP movies. Their role however is unknown as of yet.

The Wookie Clans

The Wookie Clans are a group involved in the SWRP series & movie trilogy of ESCAPE. They role currently is minor. They have appeared in, so far, 2 episodes of the series. Their home world of Kashyyyk where Hypt lost his arm, and Code 14 - 90, where Lope, an unknown Wookie, was on Tatooine at the moment of Lyder's Escape Pod crashing in the desert. Lope seemed to know alot about him and the planet. He was very worried at Lyders apperance and took photos of him, before retreating to an unknown safe house. The Wookie Clans are set to become an important part of the SWRP Trilogy of movies.

The Jedi

The Jedi are part of the original Star Wars movie Canon, and a very minor part of the SWRP series & movie, ESCAPE. They haven't actually appeared in the series yet, but might in the Trilogy of movies.

The Mandalorians

The Mandalorians are a minor part of the SWRP series & movie, ESCAPE. Their role within ESCAPE has yet to be shown. However, their first apperance was in Code 14 - 90 where Commander Harris appeared to an unknown Sith, reporting to him of the planets movements. The trilogy of movies will show a heavy Mandalorian presence on the planet.

Locations

The Planet - Titan ONE

History

Unknown when the planet was occupied by the Imperials, but it seems to have been around for some time. According to an Orientation video James watched before his arrival, it stated it was around before Order 66 was activated. At some point in the past, there was a heavy Imperial presence there, but due to unknown reasons there are only a few left. Hypt stated to James upon his arrival that people were able to leave Titan ONE on special missions, but it doesn't happen much anymore. When James asked why, Hypt replied it was a long story. Shuttles were used to bring people to & from the planet's surface, which implys people leaving & arriving in large groups.

The Space Station

The Space Station that orbits the planet control's the communications between various stations on the surface as well as outter world communications. The shuttle would fly to the space station, drop the passengers off & another ship would take them to their destination. At some point after the crash of TatDath B17, the space station failed to broadcast to the surface and communications between stations became terrible. It is unknown what happened.

The Surface

Lyder & Graziak woke up in the ocean & according to Malaki & Hypt, about 5 miles North of The Temple. Lyder was brought there on day 2. Malaki, the rebel spy who came to the planet, he was heading to the Temple, but bumped into Lyder on the way. In the movie, there will be a series of Security hatches that lead to underground tunnels that scatter for miles acorss a certain part of the planet. It is believed that another "tribe" of people live in the jungle, but have never been shown in the series. The exterior & surface of Titan ONE appear to look like Yavin 4 & some of the architecture appears to be Yavin-y. But Yavin is a seperate planet, although both Yavin 4 and Titan ONE orbit the same planet. Currently ony Yavin 4 orbits Dathomir, due to its movement.

Arrival to the planet

Alot of people have found it hard to reach the surface with ease. Most end up crashing in the jungle, beach or ocean. Only experienced pilots end up landing with ease. Unless you enter under the correct coordinates, you could bounce to an unknown location or even time. The planet can be seen if you fly close enough, but close enough means you're about to enter the atmosphere.
