Coilla grew up on the smugglers moon Nar Shaddaa after her family escaped the dangers of borrowing credits from the Bazzaar Corporation. In addition experiencing great hardship and xenophobic discrimination, Coilla was relocated with her family to Taris, where she was sold into slavery after the death of her parents in order to pay off their debts. Coilla was eventually discovered to be Force-sensitive by a Jedi, and freed from her servitude. She then made her way to the Jedi Temple on Yavin and was accepted for Jedi training by Jedi Master Plund. |
