Biography[]

Beginnings[]

Bie Melan'lya was born in the outskirts of Rhan'stam. He grew up among a farming family, but always wanted to become a politician. After the Queen of Bothawui dissolved her Monarchy, Bie would make travel into Rhan'stam to watch where Bothawui would go next.

Government Reform[]

Bie Melan'lya joined the Bothan Council to represent his clan. He went in with the motive to increase funding towards the farming sector of Bothawui. During his time on the Council, he along with other Bothans true to the Bothan Council being made of only Bothans noticed that Prime Minister Felina Sia was grabbing at more and more power. She was decreasing the power of the Bothan Council and making deals without first seeking approval of the Council.

On late night evening Bie along with Councillor's Aries and Frenis Kha'jiir met in private. They discussed recent dealings of the Prime Minister before officially voting as the Combined Clans to remove the office of Prime Minister and Vice Prime Minister.

"I propose formally, that as the rightful governing body of Bothawui, the Combined Clans dissolve the office of Prime minister and vice prime minister and request the the Standing prime minister resign from office ,as well as her cabinet. If she refuses, we shall resort to whatever nessecary means to remove her. Additionally, we shall then vote on a new First Secretary."

After the vote to remove the offices. A vote for First Secretary was taken. Bie was the deciding vote, that voted for Councillor Frenis to become the First Secretary.

During the destruction and bombing of Rhan'starn Eastern Port, Bie Melan'lya was back in the farming community. Having witnessed the reports and holo-feeds of what was happening in the Eastern Port, he quickly returned to help out wherever he could. 

Senator of Bothawui[]

After Councilor Frenis resigned from the position of Vice Chancellor of the New Republic, Bie Melan'lya was appointed as the Senator of Bothawui, he would go on to be a deciding vote in several matters. Including in Senator Shan Connell becoming the newest Chancellor.
